Created in 1987, ARTTIC is a European provider of management services for international collaborative R&D projects. The ARTTIC group comprises several companies based in France, Belgium, Germany, the UK and Israel. ARTTIC's total staff adds up to about 50 persons, all specialised in the provision of advice and practical assistance in all aspects of international R&D collaborations. Services include helping clients to elaborate their strategy for private-public R&D partnerships, establishing project feasibility, managing proposal development, finding partners to establish international consortia, helping to settle contracts, taking care of project management, and helping to successfully disseminate and exploit project results.
ARTTIC will support the STANCE consortium in the daily administrative and contractual tasks to ensure the collaboration is working, the project is properly monitored and decisions and actions are prepared and taken according to the project progress and contractual obligations.
ARTTIC will also support the dissemination activities and will take care of the corresponding logistics (public web site, public workshop organisation, publications monitoring, editing of public documents, etc.).
The team at ARTTIC, composed by the project Senior consultant, the project manager and the project administrator, is supported by additional ARTTIC specialists for solving any complex partnerships issues, for quality assurance and perform web master tasks for the collaborative platform among others.
Eric Papon, is the STANCE project Senior consultant. Eric Papon is a former Deputy Manager of the Computer Science Division of the Corporate Research Centre of the Alcatel group where he became involved in several European projects. He co-ordinated the Alcatel NV corporate research programme in software engineering, artificial intelligence and computer architecture. He is advising on R&D strategy and is managing international co-operative R&D projects on behalf of ARTTIC’s international customers since the last seven European Union R&D framework programmes as well as other programs like EUREKA and those of the European Space Agency. Eric has acted as a technical expert for the European Commission (DG Enterprises, DG Research, and DG Information Society) and the French Ministry of Research and Technology.
Laura Maroto, is involved in STANCE as project manager. She is Project Manager at ARTTIC since 2011. She has been involved since the 5th Framework Program of the EC in in projects of the ICT theme like, SALERO, SUIT, PORTIBITY, OPERA PLC and the Clean Sky program. Laura holds an engineering diploma in Telecommunications (La Salle engineering school, University Ramon Llull, Barcelona (1998)). She previously worked as R&D and innovation manager for the Barcelona Digital Technology Centre.
Rosila Farret, is project administrator within ARTTIC since 2013. She provides support for intensive administrative and logistics tasks (e.g. reporting, organisation of meetings, etc.). Rosila grew up in multilingual environment and studied in Europe for many years. She holds a University Technology Diploma and a Master’s degree in English.
